/ Welcome to Tuesday in the independent republic of Brexitlandia
/ Today the EU member states did something rather nice by extending consular access
/ Meanwhile in Brexitlandia there was much raging by ultra Brexiters that it was a fucking liberty that having voted to return Parliamentary Sovereignty Parliament made use of its sovereignty 😱😱😱
/ Certain newspapers talked about the remainer elite waging guerilla warfare
/ Which is funny because what they are actually doing is exercising their democratic rights openly and transparently as opposed to say breaching electoral rules on spending or using Cambridge Analytica
/ But rather than recognising the exercise of sovereignty or that the goal is to give the UK more options than the Government is offering (which could be handy if say the Government totally fucked up the negotiations), we got this
/ Which inspired this:

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
You are probably a judge, foreigner,
civil servant, Lord or pesky remainer,

#brexitpoems
/ Global @LiamFox took to the media to explain in detail how this amendment was a disgrace. His detailed argument is set out in tweet 9
/
/ Poor @LiamFox tries to defend his job and his vision but whenever he speaks all he says is WILL OF THE PEOPLE WILL OF THE PEOPLE WILL OF THE PEOPLE 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
/ People in the real world worry Brexit will be a monumental fuck up and that the UK is not ready
/ But WILL OF THE PEOPLE WILL OF THE PEOPLE WILL OF THE PEOPLE 🤮🤮🤮🤮
/ Some of the people said they would like to leave the Eu but not all of the people and the people implementing the will of the people cannot agree what the will of the people means but are confident the people should not be asked because that is not the will of the people
/ To take a random example - citizens rights. The Uk said we would LOVE to guarantee rights but because we distrust foreigners we will not guarantee rights until the EU guarantees rights
/ But the UK is offering less rights than before and making millions of people reapply for less rights than before and is not bothering to meet its own citizens who it wants to protect
/ But then we know that even though the Government is relying on THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE it fundamentally hates people. It hates foreign people for being foreign. It hates UK people because they want a better future & the Government is not going to make that happen at all costs
/ Personally if I were identified as a bargaining chip on May 3 I would use my vote as a bargaining chip. 🤩
/ Meanwhile it is helpful to update the list of people Brexiters are cross with even though they “won”....
/ All those who voted remain, the EU, @thatginamiller, judges, the EU, Ireland, the House of Lords, MPs who vote in the national interest, all of the UK at the last GE, civil servants.
/ But not at fault are Brexiters like @BillCashMP who have no plan, want an open land border with the EU and want to ignore trading laws by turning a blind eye.
/ Remember it’s the WILL OF THE PEOPLE in case you had forgotten 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️
