2/ This is what the punditry misses. They see the primaries as an opportunity for Democrats to stop Trump and Trumpism. However, they overlook the opportunity for the right to redefine the Republican Party long term and ensure it never returns to the globalism of the Bushes. 
3/ This is a beautifully constructed paragraph. I’m in awe & kinda jealous I didn’t write it. A perfect description of Trumpism. The midterms then become the opportunity to permanently redefine “Republican” in Trumpian terms. That opportunity will animate the electorate in 2018.
4/ Many of us have long been saying pollsters are again incorrectly modeling 2018. Only a massive lead in the generic ballot gave Democrats a chance to retake the House. Recent polling has made clear Republicans in fact have the advantage and a Red Wave is likely.
5/ The change in party fortunes has mirrored a change in how Americans view Mueller & the Trump/Russia investigation. As we roll through the upcoming months with the IG Report and potential prosecutions of Obama era FBI leadership, expect attitudes to continue to sour on Mueller.
6/ Smart Democrats see the danger zone the party is entering but, much like a tanker steaming towards the docks, it’s too late to change course. A crash is now inevitable.
7/ This coming red wave isn’t just a dream or something hoped for. There is data that shows the early signs that a wave is forming. Are the conditions right for the wave to turn into a tsunami? Only time will tell...
