Electricity at the summer cottage just went out! Thanks to the #juhannus storm. 💨

Luckily we're always prepared with candles and a gas cooker. Water can be pulled from the lake.
Plenty of wind, mixed with a bit of thunder. This is the kind of weather that makes trees drop down on the power lines.
Electricity is back, but for how long? The wind is still going strong.
Some of us went to look up the road if there were any trees on the power lines, and by chance met up with a car from the local electricity company.

- "Any idea when the electricity is back on?"
- "Well, it might be on a soon, or a bit later!"

Earlier in the week I shared some little graphics looking for people to participate in my research here in Finland. I'm still reall eager to hear from anyone who thinks they might be Abe to help, or who knows someone who might be able to help.

Today is my last day on this account. It’s been an *interesting* week to be in Helsinki. It’s an interesting time to be a PhD candidate who’s focus is minority rights.
I did a masters in International Human Rights Law in Åbo. I’m very glad to have learned so much about human rights in a country so dedicated to upholding common human rights and facilitating peace.
It was here in Finland that I was inspired to pursue a PhD in minority language rights. I had seen so many comparisons between the status of Irish in Ireland and the status of Swedish in Finland and I found it so interesting.

The Wikipedia post basically outlines the issues as a failure in the fabric of the road due to moisture beneath the road surface & fatigue from vehicle load.

The article points more at snow as being the moisture enabling culprit but we obviously don't have snow in these parts.
'Snow' may therefore be substituted for another firm of precipitation - rain (and subsequently water).

Seriously, Sconnies. Check your status. Make sure you're registered. Bring your docs to the polls. Vote early, to be sure. Last time my mom tried to vote, she discovered that she'd been de-registered. Trump won here in 2016 by a margin of less than 1%.

Sooo... the #storm continues...

Why would someone claim to be part of an organization, announce it on twitter, delete the tweet and then say they had no affiliation and finally take a picture of me with a rep of said group and have others try to turn it into some secret mtg?
For those of you twitter "investigators" that love drama you know full well of whom I speak.

This very same person is affiliated with other actors who have KNOWN DOJ indicted criminals they are paying for events that they sponsor "in the name of MAGA"
Again, you twitter "investigators" that love drama can jump into that rabbit hole. I would NEVER give scammers like the ones I reference above a name.

They know who they are and so does the #FEC @FBI and Secret @SecretService

2. What I have figured that they do, is that #Twitter targets for #Censorship with these methods.
- User account. Account pushing too much of the inconvenient #TRUTH are put on their list. This essentially targets #Conservatives or even #LEFTISTS who espouse #FakeNews positions.
3. Literally exposing #Censorship itself is banned. Other taboo topics include real exposure of #Corruption that they have identified to specifically block, such as #PizzaGate or #PedoGate. This is why #LIBS will sometimes be blocked as well (blocked ideas).
