(1 of 2) There's *no* reason to think Trump began negotiating the "Grand [Trump-Russia] Bargain" favored by the Israelis, Saudis, and Emiratis only after the election. Just two days after learning Papadopoulos was a Russian intermediary, he sent him to Israel. That was April '16.
(2 of 2) The Trump-Russia Bargain (its proper name; it was a nonstarter with Clinton) was also almost certainly discussed when Nader (representing Saudi Arabia and the UAE) and an Israeli contractor met top Trump aides in August '16. Those were 4 of the 5 parties to the Bargain.
(PS) One of the meetings with Russia's ambassador that Sessions lied about—at which (he later conceded) he talked Ukraine—happened right around the time of the Grand Bargain meeting I just referenced. So the illegal sanctions negotiations were happening *throughout* the campaign.
(SOURCE) This link explains the Grand Bargain (but somehow leaves out that the UAE and Saudi Arabia also needed sanctions gone so Russia could build reactors for the new nuclear tech they wanted Trump to give them—all these things were patently connected). google.com/amp/s/www.newy…
