Flipping WI was part of a longshot path for Trump to 270. Note that he had to win every battleground state to win and most of those victories were razor thin.
It’s not like Obama campaigned heavily in the state in 2012, which he won decisively despite Ryan on the ticket.

The focus on WI, with just 10 electoral votes, is especially strange bc Clinton could’ve lost the state but be president today if she’d carried just FL & PA, where she campaigned heavily.
So, really, WTF does “should’ve gone to WI more” even mean?
