Here is a @verified media account tweeting an intentionally misleading headline to create outrage, hatred and divisiveness when their own story debunks the claim.

So @jack and @Twitter, does that count as 'misinformation?'

Does this facilitate 'healthy conversation?'
At this point the *narrative* has spread too far to control. The Hill is one of dozens...

@jack's efforts to curb the spread of 'misinformation' will require honest evaluation of all media and that just will not happen.

It is reasonable to state that individuals not directly in the room at the time of the assault may not remember the event at all.

However, the accuser named them specifically as witnesses and all witnesses have given the same testimony which *contradicts* her claim.
Advocates of Ford are presenting the scenario as though random individuals who attended a party are being asked to remember details of the event when they had no part in the assault. But Ford herself describes it as a very small gathering with direct witnesses.
Let's play out the scenario. There are three boys and one girl with her at a house party. Two of the boys are drunk and push her into a room and begin to assault her (she claims Judge jumped onto them both before she escaped) and she ran from the room into the bathroom.

The Left has made 'I Believe Women' a moral code of ethics and an oath they all must take to prove they are good and just people. They chant this phrase as a religious mantra, an affirmation. They are dedicated to the idea they will honor the oath at any cost as moral virtue.
This developed, as most progressive ideas do, from a genuine hope for justice in an unjust world that has long denied and demeaned women specifically who accused men of rape or assault. But as progressivism always manifests, its desire to compensate has become authoritarian.
Once an accuser is covered under the umbrella of 'belief', regardless of the details of her accusation, individual liberals feel morally obligated to chant 'I Believe Her!' and become so deeply entrenched in the affirmation they view all counter evidence as an immoral attack.

A few observations on trans activism influenced by progressivism/Leftism.

Over the last day or so I have gotten the chance to witness, and confirm, a great deal of patterns in thinking and response.

It is relevant that I am not discussing trans people, but activists.
To begin with, we see an instantaneous set of confirmation biases and prejudices. Responders assume certain characteristics about me they believe invalidate my perspective entirely.

There is an assumption of malice. Regardless of what is said, it is believed to be hateful.
This immediate response is rooted in the progressive belief that disagreement is hatred. If you are not repeating the currently popular and approved dogma, using highly specific language, you are assumed to be motivated by mindless hatred, fear and intolerance.

After 70 years of imperial/neoliberal indoctrination the web of lies is so obviously absurde (9/11, Skripal, WH = ISIS, etc.), that it is dissoluting. The empathetic humanity connects, closes ranks and sends their eternal psychopathic rulers and their lackeys into nowhere land.
The "evil empire" is a lifelong three year old child. I certainly loved my children at that age too, however only because they created not only a surreal mess, but also made steady progress.

A great documentary about psychopathy and society:
The elite invented "democracy" to protect them from the empathetic people. The media are their means for misleading the people sedated by "democracy". This is definitely a bad thing since the people have become educated and the elite almost totally insane.

To clarify @Sulliview’s story, I did NOT get the story from infowars, gatewaypundit, etc. People had been sending me posts & video clips for hours, which I assumed were fake. It didn’t seem believable to me that Hogg would say that he wasn’t at school. /1 washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/styl…
The video clip I originally saw was edited and shorter, and the audio didn’t sync up with the video. It didn’t make sense that a CBS documentary was being posted by non-CBS accounts. Again, I replied to those who sent it to me that I thought it was a doctored video. /2
I’ve read stories accusing reality shows of dubbing or deceptively editing what people say. I assumed that’s what this was: doctored. Then I was sent it from CBS’ website directly. There was the video, in full, in better quality, w/a transcript. Definitely David Hogg speaking. /3
