Trump's legal woes are serious and won't get any easier. What we've seen is probably just the tip of the iceberg.
I usually get cynical responses when I tweet about this - the majority of these responses are basically rank cynicism, not rooted in fact or apprised on developments or mindful of political calculus.
Trump is going down. He has a long history of criminality and it'll all blow up. In the aftermath, we'll probably see a destroyed Trump, Trump brand, Trump family, and a severely damaged GOP. Trump will regret ever running for president.
What concerns me as an Arab person is whether (or rather when) the circle of corruption around Trump will be revealed to have intersected key Arab dictatorships, and whether they'll be made to regret ever backing Trump.
The GOP know the importance of keeping a solid front until the midterms. After the midterms, the calculus will be different.
