1/3 Was trying to remember when the ES&S hack was - when @VotingVillageDC reminded me last night. It was Aug 2017 - In the massive 1.8 mill #voter ES&S #data breach part of the download was...encrypted versions of passwords for ES&S employee accounts. usatoday.com/story/tech/201…
2/3 @UpGuard is the company who found the breach. “The worse-case scenario is that they could be completely infiltrated right now,” said Upguard's director of strategy Jon Hendren.

Thread 1. @BrianLehrer I am shocked to hear @JohnKerry admit that they suspected the algorithm of the voting machines in Ohio was manipulated in 2004 & yet they did not challenge the results. AND THEY SAID NOTHING.
2. Those of us who researched the 2004 Ohio election for years & concluded that the results were in all likelihood not accurate - needed someone of @JohnKerry's stature to speak out - yet he did not until now. He allowed ppl to call it a #conspiracytheory & said nothing.

I encourage you to take a moment to read it because there are too many people spreading absolute lies about BTS's popularity right now.

Essentially, we can think of the media in the US as existing in concentric circles. As a celebrity's influence/popularity grows, you can see the reporting shift outward to each ever-widening circle. By monitoring these circles of influence, we can see the growth of BTS in the US.
The reason this progress matters is that the gp audience awareness is significantly increased as media coverage shifts. To be mainstream in the US, celebrities must reach the outer circles of coverage, where it becomes nearly impossible to avoid knowing their name.

Looking at the reactions of continental media outlets on Salzburg you get not much. Brexit is quite often just a sidenote. If there was an intention to humiliate it was certainly nor for the European audience. They just don't care. /2
Britain talks mostly to itself but if they talk to EU27 it almost always ends up in a mediums sized disaster (if not worse). For example May's article in WELT (German newspaper) wasn't well received by anyone. /3

Pulse terror attack is 1 of the *clearest examples* of how what I call "Narrative Journalism"poisons public discourse. Many of the facts Jeltsen relates here were known within a few days/weeks, yet DNC Media remained fixated for months on it's own politically motivated narratives
You had media outlets purporting to inform the public who were actually suppressing/omitting much of what was known in order to spin politically motivated narratives about a repressed gay man rather than the story the actual facts told: an Islamic terrorist devoted to ISIS.
