The whole fucking point of the op-ed is Trump = #InstabilityInChief, stop pretending that there’s something to be gotten to the bottom of rn other than how soon does he leave office and why the hell hasn’t he received a reputable medical/neuropsychiatric examination yet. Wake up.
The op-ed writer hasn’t told us anything that actual mental health professionals haven’t already been shouting from the rooftops since his inauguration, what’s it gonna take for y’all to address the substance of the issue? Shooting the messenger only serves #InstabilityInChief.
The heart of the issue is the message: Trump is emotionally and cognitively unstable and it’s only gotten worse with time and the stress of his fake, illegal presidency*. We didn’t need another op-ed to tell us that and they will be infinite for the duration of his term.
All we’ve seen with our own eyes and heard with our own ears tells us that Trump’s behavior and thought process are dysfunctional and as a result so has become his administration. It’s way past time we do something about it instead of hunting witches b/c reality was acknowledged.
Sadly the MSM has full blown Stockholm Syndrome for Trump. His attacks on the press have frightened them out of doing their jobs and now they’ve resorted to assisting him in singling out his detractors in hopes that someday he’ll be nicer to them. Spoiler Alert: he won’t.
The MSM is following Trump down this rabbit hole of narcissistic injury and rage as if identifying the op-ed author can somehow make what he/she wrote untrue or stop the Titanic from going under and it’s a fool’s errand b/c the damage has already been done. The damage IS Trump.
Every minute the press spends working as an extension of Trump’s fragile, paranoid ego is a minute they aren’t covering Kavanaugh or the immigrant internment camps or Mueller’s investigation, the list goes on & on. That’s the inherent damage of Trump, delusional distraction 24/7.
Trump would much rather keep the American people immersed in his own grandiose, persecutory and paranoid delusions than focused on the perpetual disaster that’s ensuing all around him and *because* of him. The MSM has become too enmeshed in his pathology to protect us from it.
