How is it possible that a once moderate pro choice Republican could even consider supporting #BrettKavanaugh, a nominee she would have once brushed away? Especially when the political winds greatly favor opposition?

That is the question everyone should be asking Collins.

The answer might be as disturbing as it is obvious. Like her colleague from South Carolina @LindseyGrahamSC, @SenatorCollins has recently becone far more amenable and cooperative with the Trump administration. The change has been as sudden as it has been disturbing.

The obvious cause of such a dramatic shift is probably #Kompromat, though you have to wonder what they could have on Collins that would cause her to so publicly compromise her entire record & her reputation.

We're under the gun. Trump is ramping up exclusionary policies.
