.@realDonaldTrump has said that when considering who to vote for on Tuesday, we should pretend he’s on the ballot. I think that’s a great idea. So here’s a list of some of the things he’s done since taking office (THREAD):

—He defended Neo-Nazis who marched and murdered a protestor in Charlottesville
—He implemented a policy separating young children from their parents at the border, which tore apart hundreds of families, and then incarcerated the children in cages

—He took Vladimir Putin’s word over our own intelligence community, accepting Russia’s denial that it ever attacked our election
—He implemented a “Muslim ban” restricting immigration from several majority-Muslim countries despite this being flagrantly unconstitutional

—He swung from threatening nuclear war against North Korea (“fire and fury the likes of which the world has never seen”) to claiming he had “fallen in love” with Kim Jong Un and that the nuclear threat had disappeared even though no actual agreement was reached

—He fired the FBI Director and admitted that he did so to “stop this Russia thing, which is a made up story”
—He has repeatedly attacked his own Attorney General, his deputy, the FBI, his own Justice Department, and the rule of law

—He lied about $130,000 in hush money he had paid to a porn star to keep quiet about his extramarital affair with her
—He has befriended some of the world’s most dangerous, oppressive, and nefarious autocrats, including Putin, Kim Jong-Un, and Rodrigo Duterte

—Paul Manafort and 3 other senior campaign officials of his pleaded guilty or were convicted in part of an ongoing criminal probe into Russia and Trump’s ties to their efforts to influence the 2016 election

—He has effectively declared war on the free press; repeatedly referring to the media as “the enemy of the people”; cheerleading the attack of journalists
—He has weakened our global standing by attacking our most longstanding allies including Britain, Canada, Mexico & Germany

—He insulted John McCain in the months leading up to and even the weeks following his death; having to be essentially forced by
Veterans groups to fly the WH flags at half staff in his honor
—He has told over 6500 lies & currently averages 30 false or misleading claims per day

—He has continually exploited and exacerbated divisions across America by injecting an incessant stream of inflammatory rhetoric rooted in racial hatred, resentment of women, and fear of immigrants and minorities.

—He has fueled the flames of antisemitism by constantly deriding “globalists”; even going so far as to spread a conspiracy theory about George Soros working against America directly after an individual was motivated by this theory to murder 11 people in a synagogue in Pittsburgh

—He fabricated a “crisis” about a caravan of Central American asylum seekers hundreds of miles from the southern border of the U.S.; and ordered a massive mobilization of the military in response, declaring that the troops should be able to fire upon unarmed people

—He declared that he can unilaterally repeal the 14th Amendment via executive order (he can’t) to revoke birthright citizenship
—He has spent over 20% of his time in Office golfing or visiting his own properties; with 149 recorded trips and a cost of over $79 million to taxpayers

—He continued to push anti-immigrant conspiracy theories even AFTER a crazed supporter of his was motivated by them to mail pipe bombs to 13 of his most oft-cited political opponents and media outlets

—He ran an ad of a Mexican man who murdered 2 police officers that claimed “Democrats let him into this country. Democrats let him stay” despite the fact that he was let in under George W. Bush and was released by Joe Arpaio’s Office, the criminal sheriff Trump himself pardoned

The scariest thing is that this list barely scratches the surface of all of the horrifying things Trump has done over the past 2 years. I cannot even begin to imagine what another 2 years of him unchecked will bring.
