If Democrats win the still undecided race in Maine 02 it means Democrats will have every congressional seat in New England - all 21
Tuesday in New England continued one of the most amazing streaks in modern American politics.

Republicans have not won a House seat in Massachusetts since 1994. That’s a streak of 116 consecutive losses in House races
Back to the Northeast. If you add New York and New Jersey to New England, Democrats are likely to control 53 out of 60 House seats. Throw in MD and DE and it’s 61-8. Total regional domination
Some may ask about Pennsylvania, which is a tricky since it’s a combination Northeast state, Rust Belt and Alabama
Still of the 8 PA districts that one might nominally consider part of the Northeast ... 7 are held by Democrats
So basically Democrats will likely control 68 of 77 House seats and 20 of 22 Senate seats in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic
Long as we’re having fun with numbers, Democratic dominance among Pacific coast states (CA, WA, OR) will look like 57-11 in the House and 6-0 in the Senate
Some might consider Virginia a Mid-Atlantic state so perhaps we should call this the Acela Corridor + New England
