Players on UK side made us scapegoats for almost everything that had gone wrong in years of self inflicted austerity. With the support of mainstream media the lies of EU migrants coming to UK stealing jobs, undercutting wages while simultaneously claiming benefits kept coming /2
Despite government’s own findings that EU migrants were contributing more to the British economy than they took out, those lies kept coming. And why not, there was no opposition, no loud public outcry, the divide just got bigger /3 
Saying “You’ll be fine” (How do you know? Are you sure? What about the others) and “we’re sorry” (show it, do something) just don’t cut it. I appreciate it’s hard to know the truth these days, when official government information still claims they are protecting our rights. /4
But that couldn’t be further from the truth: EU migrants need to apply for the right to stay in their home. Apart from having to pay for the privilege, they’ll have to agree for their data (incl passport details and other personal information) to be passed on by the government /5
If all that wasn’t enough, May has the audacity to call us #QueueJumpers for having exercised a reciprocal right and filling roles in UK’s society and economy. It’s always been about migration for May, but how low does she want to go just to get that agenda through? /6
How shameful of her that she had to fuel the lingering xenophobic fire and make millions of lives even worse, playing with the mental health of so many. And yes, there were a lot of outcries about what she said, but few that seemed to properly care about those she had targeted /7
