Update from Tijuana: federal authorities have surrounded Benito Juarez shelter (the largest shelter in Tijuana where the majority of the migrants from yesterday’s events are staying)
And surrounding schools have been shut down - all the kids have been sent home. This Mom saying when she went to drop her kids off they told her they’re shutting the school today for the children’s safety #MigrantCaravan
Meanwhile Mexico’s Interior Ministry says it will track down those involved in yesterday’s march to the US border and deport anyone who crossed illegally

Good morning from the #Colombia - #Venezuela border. Here on this footbridge 50,000 Venezuelans cross the bride everyday for things like food and medical supplies and diapers...you can see them holding carts and empty suitcases to fill with whatever they buy....
The situation is so dire many of these Venezuelans - waiting in line here for breakfast - are sleeping in the streets of Colombia....some families are squatting in a nearby open football field, sleeping on the dirt at night. #Venezuela
The soup kitchen serves more than 3,000 meals for breakfast (which consists of a roll of bread and cup of milk) and feeds 5,000 Venezuelans for lunch. Families here say food is so scarce in #Venezuela they had no other choice but to leave

We're out for the lunch break. We just finished the government's closing arguments (they'll also get time for rebuttal after the defense makes its presentation.) The theme: Paul Manafort "lied to keep more money when he had it, and lied to get more money when he didn't."
Prosecutor Greg Andres' presentation lasted about an hour and 40 minutes. We saw a lot of exhibits, but I wanted to note the first two documents he displayed before getting into all that, because they seemed to sum up what the govt contends represents the most damning evidence

In an arbitration meeting between the two Smile Communications and Eaton Towers (infrastructure provider), it was agreed to reconnect all Smile sites that had been previously switched off to the benefit of all stakeholders concerned & this was done even before the meeting ended.
The parties to the arbitration agreed to sign a temporary addendum to allow re-connection and service restoration pending conclusion of the ongoing negotiations for a new service provisioning agreement.
