I'm going to make a wish that I have made here before, but this time I'm gonna address it directly to @DAVID_LYNCH & @mfrost11: if the idea of a 4th season of @SHO_TwinPeaks is too daunting, consider making XMAS IN TWIN PEAKS, a holiday special, set in Whatever Year This Is.

Another 18 hours seems like it would be too much, right? I can't believe you guys did it for S3! So I'm guessing the thought of another full season would be exhausting, maybe? But to never return to Twin Peaks is also sad, yes?

One tiny glimpse of how delightful a Twin Peaks XMAS could be-- this small piece of set dressing showing The Brennan Family in front of their tree, including young Wally Brando.

Imagine seeing some version of The Brennan Family at home during the holidays...

This Twin Peaks version of The 12 Days Of Christmas sung by actual cast members was unknown to me until @DanaAshbrook brought it to my attention:

I'm not suggesting that A TWIN PEAKS XMAS has to be lighthearted and whimsical. It could be dark. It could be ANYTHING! I mean, who among us imagined that S3 would involve a mushroom cloud, the saga of Dougie Jones & a crowded bar dancing to ZZ Top?

Santa Claus is a bearded older man who descends from the sky; in the reality of Twin Peaks, this is far from implausible

At first glance, the idea of XMAS IN TWIN PEAKS might seem silly. But I think it could be a beautiful opportunity to go back & see what things are like in Twin Peaks during The Most Wonderful Time Of What Year Is This.

Plus, Angelo Badalamenti (@DamnGoodPie) already has one Twin Peaks "Christmas" track ready to go, dating all the way back to December 1990! He could come up with a soundtrack to rival Vince Guaraldi!
