BREAKING: CBP official tells me Border Patrol agents transporting 7 year old Guatemalan girl who died were notified by her dad she was vomiting at 5AM.

She didn't get treated until bus arrived at a Border Patrol station at 6:30AM.

An hour an an half with no medical attention.
BIG QUESTION: Did CBP Commissioner McAleenan know the 7 year old died in custody when he testified on the Hill Tuesday?

He didn't address it, but said then "this is not a system that was designed for the arrival of kids and families and the numbers we're seeing.”

DHS won't say.
Important to note: no DHS or CBP official agreed to go on the record about what happened to this seven year old girl, despite *multiple* requests from reports including yours truly.

I'll have the latest on @MSNBC with @mitchellreports coming up in moments.
