I mean to acknowledge this means you have to acknowledge that black Americans were locked out of nearly every path to generating wealth. The money their labor produced. Land grants given to new European immigrants. GI Bills. Federally insured home loans. Quality public schools.
White-only suburbs. Union jobs. White-collar jobs. Public universities.
