"I'm genuinely troubled & disturbed that we may not have rule of law in Britain with regards to the referendum & I urge you to look into it." My evidence to the EU Parliament in June. I'm posting it because I'm at a total loss. What on earth *do* we do??
This tweet comes to you from a place of despair. Because journalism has actually done its job. We *have* exposed the corruption. @observerUK & @opendemocracy & @bbc & @Channel4News. But it's not enough. There's 11 investigations. But fuck all consequences

LeaveEU & Vote Leave both found to have broken law. But in October we discovered Met police hadn't even bothered to pick up the files. If we do get justice, it'll be no time soon. Meanwhile there's nothing but tumbleweed from Her Majesty's Opposition...

A few from me to kick off. What does this reference to the "Panama Papers" mean?? Is inference that Electoral Commission had read about Arron Banks' listing in Panama Papers? If so, shouldn't questions about his donation being "impermissible" should have been flagged BEFORE ref?
Is that what this means?? If so, did Electoral Commission discuss Arron Banks fitness as a donor when discussing whether to make his GO Movement the lead campaign?? And if so, shouldn't the public have had that information?

...in a nutshell, this wasn't a one-off. Andrew Neil attacked the Cambridge Analytica "conspiracy" over months. He denigrated @chrisinsilico's evidence. He retweeted Guido's attacks. All in breach of the BBC's code on impartiality...
This is interesting. An ex-senior BBC editor also wrote to Tony Hall to complain about Andrew Neil's tweet. And Lord Hall *did* reply to her. Was she impressed by his response? No, she was not...

How @DailyMailUK twisted the results of @Survation poll and created a nice little frontpage to support Theresa May with some beautiful YESes in red and some lovely supporting words, even though the front page does not actually reflects the results of the poll...

Irish High Court was asked by Polish Gov to extradite Mr Celmer under EU law for trial on drug charges. Irish judge ruled Poland’s Gov has seriously undermined rule of law by taking political control over judges (agreeing with Euro Commission) 2/
So Irish Court asked Court of Justice of EU to rule on # approach Irish Court should take. AG opinion is advice to CJEU on how CJEU should rule. Mostly CJEU takes that advice, but not always. 3/

(1) Today I'm celebrating the best Easter in my 48 years on this earth.

And I'm not even a Christian. But I'll tell you why I'm so grateful for the life and death of Jesus Christ, and those who follow him today, especially those in the USA.
(2) Some years ago I came across the online atheist community, and became very interested in their views and practices. During that time I opened this Twitter account, as a way to connect to that community. I keep the account bc changing the username is too much of a hassle now.
(3) I don't support the practice of assuming a person's beliefs and labeling them according to their Twitter username. I'm an agnostic, not an atheist. I don't believe in God, but I never rule anything out. Atheist SJWs are some of the biggest bullies online.
