Speaking of drugs: Since the Trump administration ordered prosecutors to focus on minor immigration crimes, DOJ has been bringing fewer cases against border drug traffickers than at any point in more than a decade. Here's DOJ's data, through November.

Another way to think about this: Since the start of the U.S. border security buildup in 2001, the six months with the fewest drug-trafficking cases have all happened since the start of the administration's "zero-tolerance" crackdown.
