Since I keep getting posts from Donut 🍩 Twitter regarding Bernie not voting for Russian sanctions, I thought I'd post a thread about why I simply don't care about his being absent for that vote or even voting against it when it was included with the Iranian sanctions.
First, the whole of #RussiaGate is suspect anyway. There's been no smoking gun or solid proof presented, as evidenced in this thread of all the #FakeNews articles that have had to be retracted or have been proven wrong:
In fact, the one thing we do know about #RussiaGate is that its origin began with the Clinton team as a deflection for Hillary's monumental loss to the Mango Mussolini. We know this from the book HRC camp insiders wrote called, "Shattered." 
Secondly, the reason Bernie missed the vote was because he was meeting with the women who said they were sexually harassed by other men (not Bernie) whilst working on his 2016 campaign. cnn.com/2019/01/14/pol…
The corporate media seems to be salivating over these revelations, whilst simultaneously ignoring that Kamala Harris' campaign had it's own issues: usatoday.com/story/news/pol…
And Hillary Clinton even shielded a sexual harasser in her own 2008 campaign: usatoday.com/story/news/pol…
In fact, only Bernie has made significant changes in his campaigns to curb or stop sexual harassment by providing more training and hiring a third-party human resources firm that women can call to report issues.
Finally, and probably most importantly: SANCTIONS DO NOT WORK. They never cause the leader to suffer, but do put the poor, women and children in the countries on which they're levied in danger. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
Even smarty-pants guitar-playing astrophysicists know they don't work. And, if @DrBrianMay, who is easily one of the sweetest people on the face of the planet says so, I'm gonna side with him.
