Hello friends, I promised to do a thread on a practice that will help you as a person and as an entrepreneur in organizing your life, business and will definitely help you to make the right decisions.

If you are able to practice what I will discuss here, things will change.

While reading a book last weekend, I came across it and I thought about how I've done this over the years without being conscious of it, how the practice has impacted my life and business and I thought to share with my followers.

I want you to read, practice & give me feedback.

It takes discipline and commitment to do this consistently until it becomes your lifestyle. You need to get a book and pen. I'm doing this thread now so you can start putting this into practice from the first day of February...

You see, a lot of people are careless with PERSONAL ACCOUNTING. Too many of us do not understand the importance and impact of personal accounting in life and business.

In one of my earlier threads where I talked about the lessons I learned from business in Nigeria,

I talked about the need for a lawyer. The need for an accountant is equally important in business but the need for PERSONAL ACCOUNTING is even more vital in LIFE and in BUSINESS.

You must learn to keep account of your personal finances even to the last kobo.

This helps you to keep a record and review your assets, your debts, personal cash flow (income and expenses). Every responsible person needs to keep such records daily, weekly and monthly. It helps you to keep a budget, cut out unnecessary expenses and take the right decisions.

It also helps you to save your money and only spend when its absolutely necessary. It also helps you to plan ahead and become well organized in every aspect of life.

A person who is not responsible with cash cannot be responsible with other things in life.

Hope you've learned something here. The benefit is in doing. Give this a trial and at the end of February tell me how your experience have been.
