Chris Howard died in a jail cell when police handcuffed & shackled him to a chair then left him as he was having a seizure.

People are dying every day in jail & prison due to gross negligence or by suicide, but their stories don't make the evening news.

If there is anything that should cause our government to shut down, it should be the realization that we have more than 2 million people living behind walls (yes - walls) who are literally dying and it's not a news story because the people behind the walls are somehow invisible.

Until we can get our government to care enough to not hold people in jail on bail, the most meaningful thing we can do is contribute even $5 to bail funds to help get people free
