New from me: Mueller’s indictment of Roger Stone is the latest of a Trump figure that not only doesn’t allege Russian collusion but in fact undermines the conspiracy theory. Stone sought Wikileaks secrets from 2 people who had none to provide.

I was diplomatic in this piece but I'll be frank here: it is f'ing CRAZY that our media/political class has spent 2 years speculating that a career scam artist (Stone) had inside info on @wikileaks via a kooky lefty radio host (Credico) & a far-right conspiracy theorist (Corsi).
Extremely fitting for Russiagate, I suppose, that conspiracy theorists and kooks like Stone and Corsi could play such a prominent role in the dedicated -- but delusional -- efforts to prove the Russiagate conspiracy theory.

No it’s not mixed. It’s a smear, following a familiar playbook of exploiting anti-Semitism to target voices who show basic human decency on the issue of Palestinian rights. The fact that people on the left cater to it is craven, and a shame.

The word “nuanced” at the end is a giveaway. Appealing to “nuance” has become the go-to neoliberal codeword for rejecting reality, &/or the humane/progressive position.

Translation: the American propaganda machine that has tried to influence the public w/ Russia-baiting since 2016 is now targeting the presidential aspirations of 2020 candidate Tulsi Gabbard (who happens to challenge the imperial foreign policy that the establishment promotes):
The crowd that lost to Trump doesn’t just use Russiagate to deflect from their own failures in 2016. It also uses Russiagate to sideline voices who pose a credible challenge to their failed policies and track record, in 2020 and beyond.

SCOOP: Jerome Corsi told Mueller grand jury that Roger Stone sought WikiLeaks help to rebut ‘Access Hollywood’ tape -- Stone *vehemently* denies this, saying that Corsi's claim is "preposterous." dailycaller.com/2018/11/27/cor… via @dailycaller
In making his case, Stone makes several points:
--He says he had no advance knowledge of Access Hollywood release.
--He never believed Corsi had a connection to Assange. He says it's "illogical" he'd have asked Corsi to reach out to Assange.
--If he'd have wanted to reach out to Assange, he'd have gone through Randy Credico, who had already sent text messages indicating inside info on WikiLeaks' plans (though not the Podesta part)

1/ Whenever I ask for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, I get this circular-reasoning response:
How do you know that there was no collusion?
My answer: I'm NOT claiming there was no collusion, but I see #ZEROEvidence that Trump colluded. SHOW me your EVIDENCE!
2/ If I were to claim that you murdered someone, I would need to provide evidence of this. My claim does not make it have some sort of merit. If you insist you did not do this and want me to stop pushing such as accusation in public b/c it really did not happen, that makes sense.
3/ Would an innocent person remain silent in the face of a massive campaign by those who don't like that person making unsubstantiated claims? Would they not want to put an end to it? If I were #Trump, I would want this thing shut down too as it looks to be a witch hunt.
