Sure you can definitely “publicly oppose both intervention & PSUV policies.” But you can’t both attack PSUV policies and be in solidarity with the socialist & workers’ movement in Venezuela. Solidarity is needed right now not debate over if you could’ve run their economy better
I’m all for analyzing experiences/failures of Left movement abroad to help inform to ours—but the US is taking over Venezuela, like, RIGHT NOW. I cannot understand the need to be “on record” criticizing those under attack when they’re literally on the cusp of being destroyed
I was always taught that when it comes to national liberation & self-determination struggles of oppressed peoples in the US & of oppressed nations abroad, you respect the leadership and demands of those who’s struggle it is
