SDNY's subpoena to Trump's inaugural committee also asks for records related to tech company Stripe, which processed payments from donors. A key investor of Stripe is Thrive Capital, which, at the time, Jared Kushner co-owned with his brother Josh.

What the @nytimes piece fails to point out is that while tech company Stripe was being paid by the Trump inaugural fund, Jared Kushner was still a key investor in Stripe through his company Thrive, which he did not divest from until spring 2017.

Worth noting that Trump Inaugural Committee Chair Tom Barrack also used the inaugural slush fund to help turn a profit [i.e his "Chairman’s Global Dinner" inaugural event, which he organized to advance the interests of his own company, Colony].
