New: @HowardSchultz calls for higher taxes on wealthy Americans like himself, without getting specific.

Trump, notably, said the same thing in the 2016 campaign (he did the opposite after becoming president).

Listening to Howard Schultz's speech, his theory rests heavily on the premise that solutions to national problems are obvious and easy but nobody's tried them. The thing is, his solutions have been attempted (usually by Democrats!) and failed.
For instance, Howard Schultz says "some on the far left want to ban guns altogether" and calls for "reasonable limitations on gun ownership."

Dems tried to pass universal background checks, a 90-10% issue, and got blocked. What would he do differently?
Howard Schultz also said this: "Health care costs are the biggest driver of unaffordable care. Yet neither side, extreme left, extreme right, has offered and developed any kind of credible plan to reduce cost by increasing competition."
