Right, these days having your own Brexit compromise is the fashionable thing to do, so I thought I'd have a go.

Plan Y. Y for Yes. Or perhaps Y for Yet Another Compromise. And leaves plenty of letters for others.

So, my compromise is basically to kick the can down the road in rather a more structured fashion than the PM is proposing, accepting we need more time, leaving the EU at end June, and then setting up mechanisms to evaluate future options - in UK and jointly
Something for everyone here, it reopens the possibility of a Free Trade Agreement currently not available UK-wide, allows for the possibility of rejoining in the future, citizens assemblies, parliament having a say, allow the EU to get on with their challenges
But the heart of this or any reasonable Brexit compromise - that as yet there are no workable solutions for the Ireland border, so we need to work out what is feasible, and then decide our future path. Dull, but essential.
The choice the UK currently has is economically unpalatable (no deal) or politically unpalatable (2nd referendum, delay through PMs deal, or rule taker). The suggested compromise simply admits that fact and tried to find a way through... /end
