Good lord! Trump just said Kim didn't know about Otto Warmbier! The top leadership didn't know, he said. He's talking about North Korea, for goodness sake. He's either running cover for another dictator, like for Saudis on Khashoggi, or he's just breathtakingly clueless.

Trump's emotional deficits are so staggering. Defending Kim w/o regard to the pain it would cause Otto Warmbier's family. To justify his months of bizarre & now pointless praise for No Korea's brutal dictator, who's just another prop in a failed episode of reality show president.
I can only imagine the pain Otto Warmbier's family endured when Trump ran cover to Kim—that he believed Kim "felt badly" & didn't know bc it's "a big country-lotta ppl." Trump's riffing about a 21yo American hostage arrested, tried & tortured in No Korea.
Rebuked for his reprehensible weakness, Trump tweets "strong" words, claiming he was "misinterpreted." BS. He didn't "love" Otto by praising & defending the brutal dictator responsible for his death. The coward can't even apologize now—after the pain he caused the Warmbier family
