Now, let's talk about how we're already fucking up 2020 - The Media

Let's be clear from the outset, almost no one in the mainstream media has taken their due responsibility for the many ways they helped to take down @HillaryClinton and elect @realDonaldTrump in 2016.

And they are proving quickly that they have learned nothing.

I have always argued that without some sort of media-wide mea culpa that 2020 would quickly become the both sides, sexist media quagmire that 2016 desolved into and I was right.

Without missing a beat the media has fallen into the same problematic, fascist electing routine.

Already Democrats are being held to different & higher standards than Republicans candidates are or would be.

Whether it's an affair one might have had twenty years ago, or the types of food one does or does not eat, the media has reverted to the both sides monster of '16.

As if any of the ridiculous, innocuous, or irrelevant tales they've so far produced are in any way comparable to the many crimes, affairs, assaults, or lies that @realDonaldTrump has engaged as the illegitimate President of the United States or before.

(They aren't.)

What we must realize RIGHT NOW, and what the candidates themselves must know RIGHT NOW, the media intends to make 2020 a horserace no matter how it affects our democracy or our future. They intend to find our nominee's weak spots to exaggerate and exploit them, mercilessly.

We must demand that each of our candidates currently seeking the nomination complete the most honest, thorough, and complete self-reexamination of their entire life from age 15 and forward.

They must know what is there and what can be used against them now, not later.

And if you doubt it's going to get ugly, or that fake news won't be given the same pedastal it was, then let me provide you some examples to convince you you're wrong.

First, let me say this. The more the Repubs fear you, the harder they attack you; the more relentlessly.

By this measure it is fair to say the Harris, Warren, and, particularly Booker have them quaking in their boots.

1. @CoryBooker is not gay. I know this because he had said so, and I believe him because he is the type of man who would have come out long ago if he was.

He is also completely open and direct about his support for the gay community despite knowing about the rumors and knowing how they could damage his political career.

We can say that Booker's sexuality is not an issue, but that would be a lie.

It is true that it should not be an issue, but we canmot fall on the sword of should. Not this election.

Republicans, of course, know that even the possibility that Booker could be gay will lose him some support.

Cory Booker is a avowed bachelor who is married to his work.

But that is all the evidence Republicant's and many in the media will need.

There's already been a major paper Op-Ed by a Republican of note arguing that if Cory Booker is a practicing homosexual that he's unfit the Office.
