In China, they have a shortage of women. So an organization started to build a database to start registering over 1,8 million women with all kinds of details like phone numbers, addresses, education, location, ID number, marital status, and a ”BreedReady" status? 🤔
The youngest girl in this database is 15y old. The youngest woman with BreedReady:"1" status is 18y. The average age is a bit above 32y, and the most aged woman with a BR:1 is 39 and with a BR:0 is 95y. All are single [89%], divorced [10%] or widow[1%]. About 82% lives in 北京市.
The unprotected database is not reachable anymore for the last 5 hrs. We will keep an eye on that IP address for a while to make sure it doesn't come back online. We still do not know how the owner was or what the database was actually designed for. When we do we will share this.

In China, they have a surveillance program on social networks which looks like a jerry-rigged PRISM clone of the NSA.
So this social media surveillance program is retrieving (private) messages per province from 6 social platforms and extracts named, ID numbers, ID photos, GPS locations, network information, and all the conversations and file transfers get imported into a large online database.
Around 364 million online profiles and their chats & file transfers get processed daily. Then these accounts get linked to a real ID/person. The data is then distributed over police stations per city/province to separate operators databases with the same surveillance network name

The data leak is now closed down. We want to thank everyone who was involved in closing down this data leak. At this point, there are still investigations going on to determine the source of this leak. And we will monitor to see that those affected by these will be informed.
As more evidence comes to light, we have started the process of reaching out to the victims of this leak. They can help us identify the source of the transactions. There is a suspicion a third party is responsible for the data leak. The data was publicly accessible for 23 days.
The host was sharing the "bank-transactions" from 2018 through Elasticsearch indices "bank-transactions-2018" and "bank-transactions-backfill-2018". We are still on the lookout for more possible similar leaks. Please notify @GDI_FDN if you see leaks similar like this. Thank you.

There is this company in China named SenseNets. They make artificial intelligence-based security software systems for face recognition, crowd analysis, and personal verification. And their business IP and millions of records of people tracking data is fully accessible to anyone.
This database contains over 2.565.724 records of people with personal information like ID card number (issue & expire date, sex, nation, address, birthday, passphoto, employer and which locations with trackers they have passed in the last 24 hours which is about 6.680.348 records
The database is now "protected" with a firewall rule. Although the suspicion is that all traffic from outside China is blocked for this service. At least the data is not to access the data anymore for outlanders.
