The only thing getting me through the day right now is the unending hilarity of well-off people who demand a voluntary social and economic crash taking the moral high ground
Like, maybe if you want to get self-righteous about political philosophy and democratic principle you might also reconsider supporting insulin shortages?

It’s vital we understand what was just voted on. Read the motion extremely carefully: because next week the government could once again try to shaft us with the Commons’ inadvertent consent.
1. The government will seek an extension. Great.

2. It will seek an extension till June to ratify the deal. Fine. Same old blackmail to get the deal through. So what if Commons rejects deal?

3. No commitments whatsoever.
Again, read the motion. It states that the European Council would demand a long extension. It *does not* state the government would ever seek that. May could claim she’d fulfilled her side of bargain - seeking some form of extension - but not the one EU was prepared to offer.

A crucial point. Motion merely notes we’d *need* a long extension & participation in European elections. It *doesn’t* state May would ask for it. She’s literally privileging no-deal over putting MEPs up for election- and that means there are no more words to describe her disgrace
Genuinely can’t believe this is happening. May has just suffered worst defeat in modern history, twice, and doesn’t budge one iota from her position. Her fundamentalist authoritarian nihilism will live in infamy
Historians will ask why so much was wasted by so many people for so little gain. There’ll be just two answers. The first: so UK could delude itself it was a major world player & sign meaningless trade agreements. The second, far more important: because our PM disliked foreigners.

Gov is now voting against its own motion, which means it’s trying to force its MPs to keep no-deal on the table and cancelling tomorrow’s extension vote, which, correct me if I’m wrong, means Theresa May is effectively now demanding her MPs vote for food & medicine shortages
Honestly don’t think we’ve ever witnessed a greater disgrace in the House of Commons than what happened just then. Gov so incensed that Parliament ruled out no-deal forever and not just on 29 March that they tried to force MPs to vote for no-deal. It’s as bleak as it gets.
Thankfully Parliament defied the government both times and resolved to do what would have been totally normal and expected in any sane country at any sane time: decide against plunging your constituents into an entirely voluntary economic collapse none of them voted for

I am starting to wonder if the Tories are actually planning to use the chaos of a no deal #Brexit to declare a state of emergency suspend parliament and institute a dictatorship
This sounds paranoid but there actions are consistent with if not necessarily indicative of a plan to use #Brexit to do away with democracy itself
Vote Leave broke electoral law if the referendum was binding it would have been declared void because the referendum was advisory the electoral commission could not do this and the government is simply ignoring it showing no regard for democratic norms #Brexit

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
