Today is day three of Brexit votes this week and here’s what’s going to happen:
- First, MPs are voting on four amendments
- Then they’ll vote on the main motion put down by the government to delay Brexit

Here’s what the four amendments are:
- To have a second referendum
- To vote if parliament will take control of Brexit from the government
- To vote to delay Brexit and debate alternatives
- To vote whether to prevent a third vote on Theresa May’s deal

The first of the amendments has already been voted on, with parliament rejecting a second Brexit referendum by 85 to 334 votes.

The second amendment, which would have allowed parliament to take control of Brexit, was also just rejected by MPs — this time by a narrow margin of 312 to 314 votes.

The third amendment, which would have sought a delay on Brexit and more time to discuss further alternatives, has just been rejected by 302 to 318.

The fourth amendment, which would have prevented a third vote on Theresa May’s deal, has been taken off the table at the last minute. MPs are now voting on whether to delay Brexit.

Breaking News: The UK parliament just voted to delay Brexit, which was set for March 29.
