With the EU parliament acknowledging Russian interference in the EU referendum and the UK judiciary accepting May is fully aware of all the illegalities, sweaty Brexiters, knowing the game is up, become desperate to get any form of Brexit over the line.

Here's condescending Mcvey justifying her u-turn, claiming the NON-BINDING vote taking no-deal off the table changed everything; it didn't. The EU negotiation concluded in NOVEMBER, there will be no renegotiation. The deal she's now voting for is the same deal she resigned over!

135 days ago the @ElectoralCommUK referred a crime that corrupted the result of the 2016 referendum to the NCA. @DamianCollins asked for this matter to be resolved expediently. How long does it take to verify that funds haven't come from where claimed?

👇 I briefed EU27 Ambassadors and EP today on the ongoing talks with #UK. Following the EU-UK statement of 20 Feb, the EU has proposed to the UK a legally binding interpretation of the #Brexit Withdrawal Agreement. Most importantly:
2/5 The arbitration panel can already, under Article 178 WA, give UK the right to a proportionate suspension of its obligations under the backstop, as a last resort, if EU breaches its best endeavours/good faith obligations to negotiate alternative solutions.
3/5 EU ready to give legal force to all commitments from January letter of @eucopresident and @JunckerEU through joint interpretative statement. europa.eu/!Kj44wR This will render best endeavour/good faith obligations even more actionable by an arbitration panel.

/1 Another article questions the new sanctions by the #EU & #US against the regime in #Syria as well as its affiliated businessmen. It is stated that the sanctions continue to aggravate the suffering of the ordinary population, which contributes to ecfr.eu/article/commen…
/2 strengthening the regime instead of weakening it. I have to ask a few questions, which are always up for discussion. The author claims at the beginning of the article that outrage alone cant be a policy from which to expect any useful results.
/3 Its clear that to execute these sanctions across all sectors, without a formulation of a real political vision, is a breeding ground for the propaganda of the regime. In this thread, I have also made aware of it.

Amid reports that #UK PM @theresa_may hopes to renegotiate the "backstop" provision on the Northern Ireland border, let's recall that she already made clear what she wants in her letter to #EU leaders before disastrously losing the #Brexit Withdrawal Treaty ratification vote. 1/
"This could be mitigated by changes to the backstop itself," she wrote to @eucopresident & @JunckerEU "Proposals for a way in which the UK could choose to exit the backstop unilaterally were it ever to come into force, or for a hard time limit... 2/
on the duration of the usage of the backstop, have been raised and discussed in Parliament. We have also raised them previously in negotiations." So there are her proposals, i.e. the EU should basically just cave on backstop in face of House of Commons defeat. But but but ... 3/
