WeWork: Total footprint of all leased real estate in the Seattle area has risen to 1.7M square feet, up from 900k square feet as of last summer. Claims to be the fourth largest office occupier in Seattle. By the end 2019 at least 19 Seattle locations geekwire.com/2019/wework-fo…
"In the trendy Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, WeWork will open an office in October at 1525 11th Ave. The five-floor office will have 1,350 desks." That building is ~70,000 square feet, so that's ~ 52 square feet per desk.

See, Google is very well positioned in the market. They are tied to the Android phone platform (the only viable option other than @Apple) not to mention "Google it" is synonymous with answering questions. That's whats called massive brand aweness.
Google has prositioned themselves as a utility. Utilities don't need to be fresh or hip. They need to work and work effectively.
Don't get me wrong, Google is into some seemingly spooky 💩, however facts are facts...

Google it.

1/ During Gamergate, I built a volunteer team to study Tweet harassment patterns with analytics. We learned a lot about bots. One of our main findings was a majority of “Berniebros” harassing well known feminists were bots.

We’ve looked at @Delafina777’s Twitter today.
2/ The overwhelming majority of people harassing Jessica Price today on Twitter are bots and sock puppets. These are throwaway accounts that are used as toys.

Almost no one claiming to be upset is an established, normal Twitter user.
3/ I want to congratulate @ArenaNet for prioritizing Twitter bots and sock puppets over the developers who work hard for you. I’m sure these bots will be loyal Guild Wars players.

#Today's story to #EndFamilySeparation Four months ago, Dad and 4-month-old entered at the Texas/Mexico border and requested #asylum. Dad and child were immediately separated and the baby put in ORR custody. #FamiliesBelongTogether
Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
The Mom and Dad now have once weekly Skype calls with their 8-month-old baby. That's right, folks. They Skype with an infant. #EndFamilySeparation #FamiliesBelongTogether

Twitter has made a huge positive impact on my life. Lots of people complain about it, so I wanted to write some notes about how I use it.

Love to hear others' strategies too.
I will unabashedly say this at the outset: my Twitter feed is filled with wonder and surprise and delight.
Intellectually, it feels collectively like having Nobel laureates in all disciplines hanging out in the tea room just down the hall. I can pop in whenever I like, hear them noodling, occasionally contribute myself.
