We've been told all of our lives that socialist Bulgaria was supposedly so bad and evil, but now capitalist Bulgaria is the fastest-shrinking country in the world, with growing poverty and rampant inequality, the poorest and most corrupt state in the EU
Cold War anti-communist propaganda always obscured the fact that, before the communist revolution at the end of WWII, Bulgaria's monarchy was allied with the Nazis and Fascists.

Now capitalist Bulgaria again has a right-wing government in coalition with a far-right racist party.
Today, as people suffer hellish poverty & inequality in "free" capitalist Bulgaria, fascists march in the capital honoring WWII Nazi collaborators

It was communists who overthrew Bulgaria's pro-Nazi monarchy. And it's now capitalists bringing fascism back
