Hilarious. Pro-imperialist Trotskyite "socialist" Arash Azizi took a break from writing for US government-funded reactionary anti-Iran publications and ceaselessly advocating for regime change in Syria, and went on a fun trip to apartheid Israel!
I also happened to see pro-imperialist "socialist" and Atlantic Council contributor Arash Azizi at the neoconservative United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) 2018 summit, where John Bolton and Mike Pompeo fantasized about overthrowing Iran's government.
This blog documents how Arash Azizi is prominent among the fake leftists in neoliberal academia and journalism who exploit and misuse socialist rhetoric and history while acting in the service of imperialism

Russiagate holdovers keep saying, "If there was no collusion, why did Trump and his team lie so much?!"

And the answer is obviously because they are cartoonishly corrupt, dishonest, incompetent gangsters who got caught in their own web of lies.

But that does not collusion make.
From the beginning, Russiagate was always a cynical campaign to justify a new cold war, increase exorbitant military spending, and attack the newly resurgent left by demonizing all critics of US empire and the neoliberal centrist Democrats who lost to Trump as "Kremlin shills."
As we spelled out in August 2017 in @Moderate_Rebels episode 1, Russiagate was always a *weapon* used by neoliberal capitalist Democrats to attack the left.

After failing miserably and losing to Trump, they didn't move to the left; they just blamed Russia
