Greg Clark tells @BBCNews MPs will be able to have indicative votes if May's deal's beaten again next week
This could yank the Tory party apart as bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi… - but not clear yet if he means govt will be architects of this process, or will just, as they have already spelt out, let MPs do it - important difference in terms of how angry the response will be
Clark doesn't seem really to be going any further than Lidington has already - what he doesn't say is if indicative votes would be binding on govt policy or process led by May - that's the discussion in govt at the moment
NB IN BIG LETTERS - govt has not yet made decision about this, it's not any further forward - but because Clark is one of the ministers who'd like to see this happen formally, it fuels the 'debate' - to use a diplomatic phrase
