@publicroad As a *journalist*, Ruth, I think you know the *key* is to keep from your readers that I'm an attorney, former criminal investigator, practiced criminal law for years, teach journalism at an R2 university, and run UNH's Legal Advocacy Program. Might undercut the snark.

@publicroad When @MatthewStieb—a journalist—failed to note I'm a lawyer in his article yesterday, I wrote him to say that seemed *relevant* if he's going to talk about my analysis of... {checks notes}... a *legal situation*—and he fixed it instantaneously. Are *you* a journalist?

@publicroad It's also kind of strange how *often* I've said I have no involvement in the "#Resistance" and yet you affiliate me with it, implying *I* affiliate with it. And then you somehow never did show—despite your hed—that I'm "Speculating Wildly About the Mueller Report"...?

@publicroad Let me tell you what—and this is just the perspective of someone who, unlike you, *teaches journalism* at a research university—*you're* what's killing journalism. *You* are a disgrace to media. The people you snark on are irrelevant Twitterers—*you* sully journalism.

@publicroad The absolute *gall* you have to question the journalistic chops of *non-journalists* like Mensch or Garland—neither of whom I know—even as *you* violate *every single prescription* for how to write an article: NO fact-checking, NO contacting subjects, NO sourcing. JC.
