I seriously do not understand the position that protesting against a referendum result / having another referendum is undemocratic, because there was a vote (thread)
Repeat votes are the defining feature of democracy. If you vote once and everything is settled for life, that is an elective monarchy, really.
Protests are almost by definition against government policies. If you think that is not ok, you are entering Saudi Arabian territory.
That does not mean a second referendum is by definition awesome. There can be good reasons against one. But they are not that it would not be democratic.
