A woman's right to bodily autonomy is not guaranteed.
Men's violations of that right are excused & accepted.
Women are not consistently believed.
Power imbalances that prevent women from "saying something sooner" are not acknowledged and taken into account.
Not recognizing that a woman's consent in one instance has no relation to her right to not consent in another instance.
More concern about damaging a man's "good name" or "future prospects" than about his actions with women & girls he encounters.
An unequal focus on men's intentions over women's experiences.
A willingness to attribute positive and/or neutral rhetoric (e.g., "grandfatherly," "flirtatious") to male actions, usually combined with negative attributions of the woman's actions.
Spending more time thinking of what the woman should have done differently, either in the moment or after the fact, than what the man should have done differently.
