Strong opinion: We don’t talk enough about friendship.

That’s why we over-value short meetings and under-value long conversations.

Conversation gets better with time, so spend more time with great friends.

10 hours. 10 days. 10 weeks.

Exponential benefits.
It’s simple.

The single best lifestyle change I’ve made this year is spending less time in short meetings and more time in extended conversation.

Louder laughs.

Stronger friendships.

A 4-Part Theory:

1. Recruiting is hard, but very important.

2. The best employees are 10-100x better than average ones.

3. The best employees want to work on the hard and interesting problems.

4. The harder the challenge, the EASIER it is to build a billion dollar company.

Over time, if my view changes along these lines (#TeamPatriot hashtag not connected to a psychological operation), I will make that clear. For the time being, I will write in this thread (and in replies) with respect to my current viewpoint.
Using "psychological operation" as a term calls to mind conspiracy theories, intelligence activities, etc., which are legitimate considerations of course. However, since we are dealing human communication, the ancient art of rhetoric is always on the table of analysis.

...But a good majority of people come on here to meet fellow like minded people to share each others views, because they cannot do that at home or work, or wherever, which is why I appreciate this platform. 2/7
It is not fair for us to be held back from doing so. All we are doing, is participating in what Twitter has allowed us to do from the start, but now its different, now we are hidden from expressing our views with like minded people. 3/7
