DC US Attorney Liu is one of a handful personally interviewed by President Trump for key spots involved in draining the Swamp. Others were Berman for SDNY & Huber in Utah! 
Maybe folks will figure out what Mueller indicted Manafort now? Paying Craig, Weber & Podesta while illegally lobbying Obama & Biden!
Craig is in serious trouble because his lawfirm already admitted that crimes happened & filed a FARA registration documenting the crimes. But flipped on Craig & said he did it all!

Skaaden's FARA registration says the "Private Ukrainian" paying for the report is Viktor Pinchuk. A major friend & donor to the Clinton Foundation! Craig met with him personally (not through Manafort) then signed a fake contract for the services & got payments through Manafort.
Craig set it all up by trying to get legal advice from another partner so they could claim it was legal. But he says he only wants to be able to claim it with a straight face!
But Craig quickly moved to violate his own partner's ruling that would keep them within FARA rules.

But Craig was hiring the PR Firm & directing their work, he just didn't want his name on the contract...
While also Consulting them on how to run the PR mission to make it look better!
All while taking $4M in laundered money from a pro-Putin Ukrainian oligarch who tried to help set up Trump after the election in 2016!
Craig recognized how badly the stink was growing in 2012, & tried to get Pinchuk to come forward and admit it was his money so they could spin it...
They then concocted a story to lie to the press & claim they were getting $1.25M instead of the $4M they were being paid.
They then created false documents to back up their lies!
But they have other documents that contradict the lies that Craig tried to sell! I'll have to finish this later, duty calls!
I'm back for a few! Using a "former Congressman" from a lobbying firm to conduct the lobbying & PR by leaking the report. Sounds like Webber is "former Congressman" & Tony Podesta is the one referred to in this indictment as "the Lobbyist". Everyone needs a nickname!
Craig met with "the Lobbyist" 7 the "PR Firm" executive to plan the release to Reporter 1. But Craig had to back out out of a briefing call as his law firm rules wouldn't allow it!
But Craig still reached out to the reporter to have them talk to "former Congressman".
Craig then wrote a CYA Memo to list the fact that his report for the Ukrainians was mostly BS, but hey for $4M if the client wants BS & you have not ethics or morals, the client can get you to sell BS!
Then Craig participated in a variety of PR efforts for Ukraine that were illegal under FARA. His firm has already confirmed that these were illegal & threw Craig under the bus to assure everyone it was all his fault!
I wonder if these reporters & papers are going to retract these stories? Or maybe they need to register under FARA as agents for the Foreign Principals like Putin's Ukrainian pals!
Looks like Craig's work was much appreciated by the Ukrainians, especially his ability to manage the reporters onto a false narrative that Craig was paid to promote!
The DOJ also said today that Greg Craig "You are back in the headlines internationally... You are "THE MAN." The man indicted for these crimes!

This is only the beginning for Craig, there are no indictments for the false documents or the money laundering. So if he doesn't plea guilty, there will be more to come. Plus his friends will be on deck soon!
Then we can start looking at why & who the FBI & DOJ protected Craig, Manafort, Weber, & Podesta during the investigation from 2014-2015! I'm sure that will be another interesting story!
CNN got the leaks claiming that Manafort, Podesta & Weber were cleared by the FBI & DOJ. If true remains to be seen. But the SC & Judge in the Manafort case made it clear, this case was already sitting there waiting for a prosecutor to finish it...

One issue, the quotes at the end of the article make it sound like "the Lobbyist" might be Manafort. So I'm not sure if they are referring to different lobbyists in different sections. Or if Podesta is the 'executive' with the PR firm. Will have to try & dissect it better.
