Thread: Sergei Shoigu chaired the Military Acceptance Day meeting at the NTsUO where he and Deputy Defense Minister Krivoruchko summed up the procurement results of 1Q19. The MoD received 500 new and 50 repaired pieces of equipment. (h/t @KomissarWhipla)

He noted that both the Kazan and Ulan-Ude helicopter factories exceeded delivery expectations. Shoigu said 3,751 buildings and facilities are planned to be built in 2019, including 400 for Russia's strategic nuclear deterrence forces, and 850 have already been completed. 3/

Deputy Defense Minister Krivoruchko said the Ground Forces and VDV received:
-498 new and 42 refurbished vehicles
-20 units of MLRS and tube artillery
-187 new and 53 repaired units of communication equipment
-9k pieces of personal weapons/equipment

-The 439th Guards Rocket Artillery Brigade is receiving a Tornado-S MLRS brigade set
-The 104th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment received a battalion-set of BMD-4M and BTR-MDM
-175 Tigr vehicles will be delivered in 2018-2019
-12 of 35 DT-10PM have been delivered

-The first 3 of 14 PKhM-5M CBRN vehicles are being delivered
-5k AK-12 rifles have been delivered. 112.5k AK-12 are to be delivered by 2021.
The VKS has received:
-10 new and 3 repaired aircraft, including 10 Su-34 to 2nd Mixed Aviation Regiment (6 more planned in GOZ 2019)

-31 new helicopters including 6 Ka-52 to the 55th Independent Helicopter Regiment and 5 Mi-8MTV-5-1 helos from KVZ have been delivered and another 5 are planned
-1 new and 6 repaired radar stations (5 repaired P-18R and 1 new Nebo-U). 12 more P-18R and 5 Nebo-U are planned

-Vympel NPO has delivered 140 medium-range air-to-air missiles with another 220 planned to be delivered by November.
For the VMF:
In addition to 48 Kalibr (24 were delivered) and 1 of 3 Bastion battalions (the 1st will be delivered in May I believe)

-23 of 55 Oniks anti-ship missiles (8 will be delivered to the BSF in April and 18 to the Pacific Fleet in July)
-24 Fizik-1 torpedoes
-The RVSN 290th Missile Regiment is being reequipped on the Yars ICBM. By May the regiment and 14th Missile Division will be re-equipped. 9/

In 2019 the Votkinsk Plant is building:
-50 Iskander-M missiles (14 are built)
-21 Yars ICBM (4 have been shipped)
-10 Bulava SLBM
Other updates:
-The Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Project 636.3 diesel submarine was launched and planned to be delivered in 2019

-The S-350 Vityaz successfully completed state tests and is now in production. First deliveries are planned for this year.
-Production of the 11th Iskander-M brigade set has begun and is at 50% complete.
-Tests were completed on a new BTR-82A prototype with thermal sights.

Starting this year, BTR-82A will be equipped with thermal sights and additional armor. With the successful completion of GOZ 2019, the Russian Armed Forces will be equipped with 68.2% modern equipment. 12/

One thing to note, Shoigu is also counting systems that have been completed and accepted by the Voenpred at the factory but not actually delivered to forces. Also important is the # of Kalibr cruise missiles Novator can build: 48 of which 24 were delivered over ~3 months. 13/

Anytime Russia is considering using Kalibrs in Syria or elsewhere, the slow rate of production to replenish the Navy's Kalibr stockpile is relevant. Conducting a 100 cruise missile strike, like the one the US launched in Syria, would leave the VMF vulnerable afterwards. 14/
