95% of what those complaining about Trump's 'obstruction' (of a BS-launched investigation! into a non-crime!) seem to be reacting to is Trump's...er...style.

His 'leadership' style. His passive-aggressiveness.

Being a blowhard, basically.

But we *voted for* the blowhard!
The technocratic ruling-class can't digest such a blowhard. And that's the real problem. All these hysterical spasms we've seen over the last 3 years about how 'horrible' Trump is, how he violates 'the norms', trace to this.

Not the law.

The 'norms'. The technocrats' norms.
The freakout we saw from guys Brennan and Comey was a reaction to Trump as a foreign invader to their class. He wasn't one of them. And they couldn't deal with it. Half the country still can't.
The problem is everyone feels the need to gussy up this reaction in Legitimate dress by painting it as merely 'enforcing the law'. But there's no straightforward reading of 'the law' which says a blowhard going 'I hope you can go easy on Flynn' is 'Obstruction Of Justice(tm)'.
What that statement violates, rather, is 'the norms'. It's....Just Not Done. No one Jim Comey ever worked with or for would ever say such a thing, like that, quite in that way.

They were all trained not to, as part of the technocratic ruling class! So they all know it's 'wrong'!
The 'problem', obviously, is that Trump wasn't trained that way nor did he rise through any such hierarchy with those 'norms'.

But we *voted for* that guy. We *wanted* the guy who violated norms. Trump's personality wasn't some big secret! It was his sales pitch!
This leads to an inevitable culture-clash, because the technocratic ruling-class can't help but perceive Trump Being Trump as *inherently* a Violation Of The Law.

Essentially, their 'norms' (albeit not the law!) *outlaw* Trump-Like Personalities from rising through their ranks.
This explains why from the moment Trump arrived, they swarmed and attacked like a bunch of white blood cells, attempting to eject him from the body politic.

Just look at the metaphors they use! Conway: he's a 'cancer on the Presidency', etc.

But that's what we wanted.
Ultimately there's a mismatch here in a dry objective reading of 'the law', vs. the technocratic class's attempt to impose their 'norms' (behavior, style, manner of speech, genteel way of using credentialed middlemen to do dirty work while dotting i's and crossing t's...)
Ultimately, they want to impeach Trump for Being Trump-Like. Being Trump-Like is anathema to the technocrats' norms and way of being, doing.

But we voted for someone Trump-Like!

How to resolve this?
There are certain Constitutional requirements for being President: 35 years old, natural-born, etc. Trump satisfies all of them, & we voted for him.

The technocrats want to apply and impose their own, private, extra-constitutional eligibility requirement:

Can't be Like Trump.
Who wins this conflict? The people who voted? Or the technocrats?

Frankly, I'm surprised the people haven't been overruled already.
