It's annoying to see young entrepreneurs sabotage themselves and their business by their reluctance to advertise.

I get the reluctance. You don't want to fail and waste money. Well then, go get a job and be safe.

people who hear about it, and view your offer(s).

You can do free advertising by sharing content, posting on social media, begging for RTs, etc, but that'll only do so much.

Platform sites restrict/limit how far your organic reach can go so they can monetize and earn too. If...

you want to grow your business then you have to spend money on advertising and increasing your reach. And sure your first attempts will be clumsy, and you might fail, but heck, what does it matter? That's life. You will learn and get better at it.

But refusing to advertise...

because you might lose money and relying only on organic reach is like rowing a fishing boat to the middle of the sea sitting atop a school of fish and trying to grab the fish with your hands, rather than use a freaking fishing line hook, because the line/hook costs money.

Dumb.

Don't be dumb.

Be wise. If you want to grow, spend money and advertise your business. If you are afraid of failing because you don't know how, then find people who know how (there are tons of them) and who will do it for you for a small fee.

Be wise. I know you prefer wise.
