The IRS awarded more than $312 million to tipsters in 2018. The previous record of $125M awarded in 2012 but $105M of that went to one whistleblower at UBS the Swiss Bank. 2017 saw only $31M paid out so this is a 10 fold increase.
Once again, so much is happening, they just aren't connecting the dots & explaining how it is all connected. The IRS released a report on this success in February. irs.gov/pub/whistleblo…

@ChuckGrassley Apparently these cases are very slow while they await final determinations, appeals & collection. So they take 8-9 years to finish.
