Are they starting to drain the Swamp in Mexico?
The Brazilian construction company Odebrecht, which is linked to several of the US & Latin American corruption investigations has been banned from Mexican govt. contracts. #ButNothingsHappening afp.com/en/news/15/mex…
In addition they also may not work with state-run companies either for at least the next 3 years!
Odebrecht has been linked to corruption in at least a dozen countries, with Mexico making it lucky 13!

Several Presidents from South America are already in jail & one killed himself last week when the police showed up to arrest him.
The former director of the state oil company Pemex took $10M from them while he was campaign manager for former Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. They were banned from state contracts & fined $50M last year for corruption.
Odebrecht must make a lot of money off these deals because they offered up $18M in cash to buy their way back into business! I'm sure there will be more to come!
Huh, guess who helped the Singapore soverign investment fund Temasek invest $400 Million dollars to buy into Odebrecht?

Why it's Skadden Arps...

Seems that was the start of a spree of investing in Latin America for Temasek. Interesting indeed.
