The fact of the matter is there is a much simpler answer. Both Earth and Mars were warming at the same time because of increased solar activity as seen by sunspots. The Sun or some other cosmic event is the only thing that could cause both worlds to warm at the same time.
Since an increase in Sun activity was recorded during the warming period of both planets it's the most likely cause. This isn't rocket science. Also since Mars was warming 4 times faster. It follows that natural effects like albedo changes are more powerful than man activities.
