Ok, tweeting from urgent care. Arrived at 11:02am. They told me it’s an hour wait. I see five people ahead of me in the waiting room. Let’s see how long this takes. And how it goes once I see a doctor.
20 min in. I didn’t bring a book, which is my bad. But I probably wouldn’t be able to concentrate with Who Wants to Be A Millionaire blaring on the TV above my head. I honestly didn’t know this show was still on the air.
45 min into my hour long estimated wait. I think I’m next. 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
In an examination room! My blood pressure was higher than normal. Doctor should be in soon. Sitting here makes me realize how tired I am from waking up so much aka pain-somnia every night this week. A solid night of sleep would be so amazing.
Ok, that was actually fine. I saw a nurse practitioner, listed everything I do normally for pain relief, explained Flexeril has worked for me before & she prescribed 20 which should be 6 month’s worth or more. I’m so glad this just took an hour & 20 min w/ no emotional hassle.
Gonna go home, take these drugs & read/nap in bed all day in the hopes of finally kicking this flare up. Massage still scheduled for tomorrow too. Have a great day yall.
