Germany was big in Sanskrit learning. Why?

They obtained a number of ancient Sanskrit manuscripts from India. A lot of these were scientific works.

In Melkote a major palm-leaf manuscript gathering and scanning mission was. being sponsored by Germans.

Teaching "modern" Indians apathy and hate for Sanskrit knowledge goes hand in hand with stealing from that enormous treasure of scientific discovery.

I’ll let German-origin @mariawirth1 comment on that. But the evidence points towards that.

The strange thing is not the Europe teaches a Euro-centric view of the history of Science.

It is that *India* teaches the Eurocentric view in its textbooks.

And that the Indian Left which rails against “imperialism” is the biggest advocate of this, attacks native achievements.
In China they’re challenging Western hegemony in history.

For instance a museum exhibit said—West claims they invented Zinc-plating but showed an artifact with much earlier instance of zinc-plating from China.

Chinese are fixing Euro-centric history, Indians mock such work.
Example of Leftists who have spent a lifetime denying India’s scientific prowess. They are complete ignoranuses. Romila doesn’t even know Sanskrit.

Denmark bans cruel "halal" slaughter.

India, which led the world in animal rights, and has ending slaughter of milch cattle in its Constitution Principles, makes halal MANDATORY. This is part of the APEDA Act.

Because Indian "secularism" = Islamism.

Perhaps someone can lead a petition to have restaurants mark meat as "cruelty free" since the government will likely do nothing.
So every slaughterhouse in "secular" India pays a Maulvi a salary to certify halal since the govt requires this.

The govt of India pays maulvis, Imams. All the while it robs Hindu temple wealth. Is India a "secular" state or a religious apartheid state?

Al Baghdadi, PhD in Islamic studies, made sure that #SIS slavery was #ShariaCompliant.

Just as Allah and the Prophet had intended.
Some of the female slaves who were raped were as young as 10 or 12. Remember Allah explicitly allows rape of female slaves in the Holy Book. Multiple times.

After slavery became illegal in the West, there was a lot of pressure on the Islamic world to end slavery. However, Saudi Arabia and Yemen ended legal slavery only in the 1960s! Islamic Mauritiana was dead last in the world to legally end slavery.

From cruise missiles to laser-guided bombs, antiship missiles to smart weapons & modern radars and avionic systems, a new aircraft designed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) promises a lot. The plane, for which design work is complete, doubles as a fighter trainer.
The IAF has not made any demand for it. HAL CMD R Madhavan recently said HAL no longer waits for IAF’s requirements. "We're confident of doing R&D and offering a product. We're even looking at markets outside,” he said.

Big news on the US-#India relationship.
The GSP review for India, undertaken by the USTR last year, was primarily motivated by complaints by the US dairy and medical industries of market access. (On a higher-level, part of the Trump crusade against trade deficits.)
This is not out of the blue. The USTR GSP review for India, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan was announced last April. This has been 10 months in the making. #India #GSP

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.

Most Indians today are well aware of the two famous ancient universities of India which also are one of the oldest universities in the world – Takshashila University (Taxila) and Nalanda. But are these the only knowledge centers that existed in ancient India?
Education has always been given great prominence in Indian society since the times of the vedic civilization, with gurukul and ashrams being the centers of learning. And with evolving times, a large number of centers of learning were established across ancient India.
Taxila as it is called today, Takshashila University established around 2700 years ago was home to over 10500 students where the students from all across the world used to come for study.
